This is one of the most inspirational books I have read. It is the story of Lance Armstrong who battles cancer, defies his odds for survival and wins Tour De France making the idea of a medical miracles a reality. I hear a miracle happens everyday. This, like mum's case is one of them.
My favorite lines:
"The truth is that cancer is the best thing that ever happened to me. Why would I want to change, even for a day, the most important and shaping event of my life?"
"I don't check my mother at the door"
"i want to die at a hundred years old after screaming down an Alpine descent on a bycycle at 75 miles per hour"
